We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new state of the art Mecal Kosmos MC305 CNC machine at our facility in Earlswood, Solihull.
The new machine will strengthen our production capabilities as a supplier of aluminium extrusion, allowing us to provide a superior product to a wider customer base.
One of the main advantages of the Mecal Kosmos MC305 CNC machine is that it is able to process lengths of aluminium up to six metres, which is a marked improvement on our previous ability.
We are also now able to offer a faster lead time on long length machining, due to the fact that the Mecal operates on a 4+1 axis rather than the 3 axis on our previous machine. This means that we can machine multiple faces without unloading and reloading the length of extrusion, allowing us to be more efficient and more accurate in what we do.
A faster spindle speed and the option of running two parts in a mirror configuration further extends our capabilities in terms of supplying extruded aluminium that is machined and finished, ready for commercial use.
The enhanced machining capacity, along with our expertise in other areas, allows us to supply and offer:
